Border Sights Tours of El Paso (915) 533-5454. Excellent personalized tour by a retired gentleman named Rudy. The tour lasted a little over three hours and was full of interesting stories and facts. When he found out I like trains, he added in the old railroad depot.
Wyler Arial Tram 1700 McKinley, El Paso, TX 79930 Karl Wyler built a broadcast antenna and platform on top of Ranger Peak for his NBC television station in 1959. Due to its inaccessibility, a tram had to be installed to construct the antenna. The single span is 2400-feet long, and rises 940 feet. For $8, the public can now ride the tram to the top.
