Savannah, Georgia

Church of Scotland 207 Bull St, Savannah, GA 31401. The Independent Presbyterian Church, which is a branch of the Church of Scotland, was founded in 1755. I was surprised to fund this connection to Scotland here. Lowell Mason, who wrote Joy to the World and Nearer My God, to Thee, began his musical and religious career at this church.

This is in a congested part of downtown, making it difficult to get a full photo, so I'm using this stock one.

Tybee Island Obviously, this is a little ways from Savannah on the ocean. This is the sea resort of Georgia. As such, it is full of cafe's, small cheap motels, and gift shops. It's also a fun, divey sort of place.

Charlotte below the Tybee Pier and Pavilion. The pier is s working fishing one with a bait shop at the end. The pavilion has a food court, picnic tables, and sometimes live music. Sept. 2017.

2017 was a particularly brutal hurricane season. This Arby's was basically a shell. Sept 2017.
